Description
After 20+ years as a healthcare executive, I have taken the opportunity to turn my love of travel into a second career! By spending the time to really get to know my clients, and following a research driven, analytical approach to travel planning, I am able to match my clients' interests with destinations and activities to create a memorable dream vacation.
Experiencing local culture through food and wine greatly influence my travel planning. I'm always seeking great dining experiences or finding a wine event that might be outside of the norm. A recent Bordeaux River Cruise provided ample opportunity for great dining on and off the ship – more outstanding wine than anyone could possibly drink.
Pro tips: Portugal is easily Europe's best value, plus it has a hot restaurant scene and very approachable wines. Visit Venice in the fall or winter, which, despite some rain, is especially nice.
Favorite thing about cruising: You only have to unpack once – your luxury hotel moves with you! Choose the right cruise-line and you get Michelin-quality dining every night. Since itineraries include the world's top ports, many clients use cruising to "scout” destinations and decide where to return to in the future.
